Do You Ever Wish You Could Erase Your Emotional Eating?

Only a few years ago, I would completely dread any holiday.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the holiday season. I look forward to the gatherings, decorations, travel, and reminiscing. But with all of the hustle and bustle brings a more hectic schedule, greater stress, and ultimately, more triggers and challenges with food.

Around every corner is a new temptation, an abundance of treats and sweets, and I found myself feeling totally out of control with making mindful choices in the moment. So my eating habits slid down further and further until I eventually resorted to the “throw in the towel” mentality and vowed to just make changes in the new year.

But then when January would come, I wouldn’t have an actual plan in place to change it… or I put way too much pressure on myself to be perfect… or (and this was usually the case), the unwanted habits had perpetuated for the last couple weeks and it was honestly just too hard to break them at that point.

So the cycle would continue. Another year would pass.

I just knew that I couldn’t go on year-in and year-out like this. There had to be a different way to not only enjoy the holiday season, but not let it wreck havoc on my emotional eating tendencies.

So I began researching everything I could get my hands on about nutrition, mindset, lifestyle change.. And in the process, I learned a whole lot about why I was stuck doing the same patterns and behaviors over and over again.

I didn’t change overnight. But something began to shift. Slowly I was able to implement what I was learning and felt a release from the control that food had over me.

I started to enjoy a full meal without feeling the shame or guilt. I stopped worrying about “the damage I had done” and how many calories I had consumed. I discovered other ways besides turning to food, to cope with however I was feeling. So then I didn’t feel triggered to keep going to the kitchen and refrigerator, even when I wasn’t actually hungry.

Once I could overcome my emotional eating during the holidays, I knew it was something I could continue in my everyday life too. It completely changed my lifestyle.

Through helping myself, I pinpointed exactly what it was that helped me most, and decided I wanted to help other women with this too. I created a framework to transform emotional eating habits into new behaviors that promoted wellness goals and provided that freedom from food I had always been searching for. I had finally learned to just eat.. and that was it.

I dedicated the last couple years to studying and trial and error, to arrive at the most effective strategy. (Teaser alert - it involves 2 major and necessary components.)

The entire framework is part of my Emotional Eating Transformation Program, and it’s for you if:

  • You feel stuck on a never-ending yo-yo, one where you’re constantly fighting food and just want to feel better about yourself and your body.

  • You DREAM of just having a meal or eating day with no strings attached. No lingering thoughts about the food you ate, no guilt or making vows to “do better tomorrow.” You want to eat and LIVE, without food dictating your everyday life.

  • You feel like you’ve tried everything - from the latest diet or weight loss plan, to setting yet another New Year’s Resolution… nothing’s worked or certainly hasn’t worked for the long-term (or you wouldn’t still be reading this!)

I want you to know there’s hope. I’ve helped other women with the same system I teach and the results have been extraordinary.

“For the first time in my life I was able to truly enjoy Thanksgiving dinner as it was, completely guilt-free. I ate everything I wanted to, including dessert, and went home feeling free. This has never happened before! With a plan in place to follow, I am still on track with my health goals, but feel in control with food without any negative thoughts surrounding it.”

Let me be honest with you. As I mentioned, this process doesn’t happen overnight. It takes a few weeks of putting what I teach into practice to really start seeing the payoff.

But I promise you, it’s SO worthwhile and if you start now, you can head into any year in a completely different place than the years past. You won’t have to set some crazy New Year’s Resolution or scramble to figure out how this year, you’re finally going to get where you want to be.
